The latest coming on Maharshi Cinema, starring Venu and Kamilini Mukherji in the lead is ‘Gopi-Gopika-Godavari’. It is produced by Ramesh Valluri after a creative hit ‘Aunu Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru’, in the direction of notable director Vamsi.

Touted as a Vamsi mark romantic story, the movie filmed in the locales of Polavaram, Godavari, Papikondalu, Singannapalli Revu and surroundings, unprecedentedly illustrates the beauty of Godavari.

It is well known that most of Vamsi’s works are related to river Godavari. Incidentally for Kamilini Mukherji ‘Godavari’ scripted & filmed closed to the river had been a major hit, and she is working on a similar project once again. Hope, this lucky factor also works for Venu, who is looking for a hit.

Few songs and sequences are filmed in a huge set built at Singannapalli Revu and will stand out as a special attraction, says the producer.

The makers have planned to release the audio this month, and the movie in coming May.

Krishna Bhagavan, Kondavalasa, Jeeva, Kalyan, Jayalalitha, Geethanjali, Sana are the supporting artists.

Music is composed by Chakri to the lyrics penned by Ramajogaiah Sastry. Photography is by B.Loki Goud.
